ive seen a few riders on zxr's running this sized front tyre. is there any advantage over the 120 60 size or is it just because there running the wrong tyre?

Re: 120-70 front tyre
A 120 / 70 will probibaly make the front a little more flickable due to the profile being more triangular / sharper.
But if will raise the front slightly as well so this will give the opposite effect.
To compensate drop the forks through the yolks slightly to bring the front end back down.

i wouldn't even bother dropping the forks. People run them because there's a better choice of tyres in 120/70

Re: 120-70 front tyre
120/70 gives a larger contact patch at big leans ... and super corsa's dont come in a 120/60 (racers)... these are the two reasons people use them ...
you do have to drop the front a few mm to compensate for the extra height (speedo will now read wrong too)
I wouldnt bother for road riding, the 120/60 feels nicer, the bigger tyre can feel clumsy and is of no benefit at even moderately insane road speeds

Re: 120-70 front tyre
I had a 120-70 on the front and hated it, didnt have any confidence in the bike at all, straight line was a little "wobbly" as well.
put 120-60 and the bike is freakin awesome now, but thats just my opinion innit.
