I recently bought my zxr and had it serviced to check it all out. I knew it had clutch rattle (as do most zxr's as it seems ) but the guy at the garage said the rattle was a little bit louder than normal and I'm pretty sure I've heard it get worse since I bought the bike.
I've had it 3 weeks and racked up 1300 miles and haven't exactly been gentle with it although its restricted to 33bhp so that should be gentle for what it's used too
But anyway the cam chain tensioner went a few days ago and I needed to change the clutch plates so while I'm spending money and getting at the clutch would it be worth fixing the rattle?
I realise it will probably come back after a week or two but it shouldn't come back as bad as it is?
And am I right in saying it is the basket bearing that I would be replacing and if so how much would the new bearing be?
Thanks in advance for any help
