Hi All,
I am trying to get my clutch over off but after removing all the bolts it won't budge. I have an 89 H model, is there somewhere on the cover I am missing that I can stick a screw driver or something?
Cheers,
-Cront

Re: Stuck clutch cover
dont use a screwdriver, youll damage the facings. Best thing to do is knock it off from the side with a rubber mallet. Double cjeck you have all the bolts off, if its that hard to get off you may have missed one.

Re: Stuck clutch cover
The clutch arm holds the case on too so don't try to force it until you've disconnected it.
If you drop the clutch arm down a bit, remove the clutch cable first (i think you rotate it roud then drop it, but dont remove it completely you'll risk damaging the oil seal)
When this is done the case just drops off

Wwhat cargo is saying is do not undo the bracket holding the clutch cable in place under the clutch casing. If u wanna take the cable off, slacken off the clutch cable n take the cable end out from the arm lever.

Re: Stuck clutch cover
Good point,
if you do unbolt the cam-chain tensioner (clutch cable bracket mounts to this) you MUST reset the chain tensioner before putting it back on

Re: Stuck clutch cover
Thanks for all the advice guys, I'll be going over the microfiche and having another go this weekend.
I imagine the clutch arm is my problem so I want to be sure I'm not undoing the wrong thing and breaking my cam chain tensioner
