Cam Chain Guide Needs Replacement

Post by spaz »

Right, mine is broken (when I was installing the cam chain 4 monthes ago it fell out and I didn't think anything of it. I've only just realised that it needs repacement now). Do I need to separate the cylinder head or can I just take the top end off and swap them as simple as bolt on/off?

cheers

sorry, it's the front one that fell out; the one that does not flex from the tensioner

Nah they feed in from the front top of the block, have to take rocker cover off, cams out and then leaver it out, use of a right angled pick would be handy,
