Re: removing cam chain tensioner
you got it mate then the tensioner arm will rise to the tensioner an as it wears the arm extends and keeps it tight, clever kwaks!!

Re: removing cam chain tensioner
ahhhhhhh this is the seventh most stressfull day ive had.
put it all bak and pulled the clutch in and was stiff then ndidnt work, cable is fine its the bit where it attaches to the tensioner the big bolt thatr connects the steel washer to the tensioner was out so i put in bak in and it worked and after 1 min it broke again???made a click noise when it broke, also i cant get the bolt the full way in? :smt013 :smt013

Re: removing cam chain tensioner
you know the clutch cable, it attaches to a large bolt on the left of the tensioner, that just clicks every time i pull the clutchin and then the clutch just becomes loose. i think the tensioner is nackered wont come all the way up, with out me pulling it.
