1999 kawasaki zxr 400 issue

Hi all,

After 3 years in the garage I decided to take my beloved kawasaki zxr 400 to a small ex-airfield for a bit of a run.

However, for some reason, the back wheel kept locking up?? And sometimes there was a bit of a crunch/ click noise.

What could this be?

Also what maintenance should I carry out as it's been stood for a few years! Although i have started it nearly every weekend.

Wow could be loads of things, seized chain. Worn sprockets, brakes, wheel bearings, cush drive... Any pics to give us an idea of condition it's in, any play in the rear wheel? Seized links. In the chain?

Did you give it a thorough check over before taking it out after 3 years?
