Engine flush
Looking to service my zxr400 L1 whilst I'm restoring it and just wondered if it was safe to use engine flush before dropping the oil

Re: Engine flush
the label usually says let it idle n run for 5mins or smth like that
but i usually take it out for a very short ride, moving between the gears n revs *not too high revs though*

Re: Engine flush
i used wynns engine flush last time round, made the oil come out thinner and the top nd was cleaner aswell, on the cases before it was brown inside, now more aluminium colour, said on the bottle let it idle for 10-15 minutes. i wouldnt ride it personally as the idea is that it breaks down the oil so you will have no protection, i know its the same on idle but not as bad
