Buzzing noise

Hi everyone, new here probs a silly question (used search function, found a few with similar problem) but my zxr is making a buzzing noise, pretty sure its not from the fairings or anywhere and i guessing its from the engine. It seems that a loose cam chain can cause this noise, but the tensioner can be adjusted (???) to combat this.

Can anyone link me to any guides/stickys/threads relating to how this can be checked/done if neccessary. Or if your feeling really nice haha, write a simple guide to check it

I've never heard a worn camchain that I could describe as making a buzzing noise......................it would be more of a rattle.

So if I were you I'd be looking more closely for where the noise is coming from...............

If you take off the ignition pick up cover and look in at the camchain tensioner you should be able to see if it is fully extened that would indicate if the camchain is worn.

The camchain tensioner is fully automatic there is no manual adjustment

oh ok then i must be wrong ( I HOPE im wrong!!!) cba to have to work on it yet, just got the damn thing. Guna go out for a raz to find out where the buzzing is coming from!

ok thats good news that the tensioner is automatic, ill check its condition soon too
