zxr 400 PROBLEMS

hi having a few problems with my zxr 400 l3
firstly there is a bit of oil or somthing coming from where the down pipes go in to the engine also there is a loud rattling noise coming from the engine when the revs are below 2,000 could this be the cam chain tensioner? there is also two small holes in the down pipes would this effect the performance?

oil coming out just below down pipes........there are little 'drain' holes just beneath the downpipes that come from the spark plug wells could be the spark plug well seals or rocker cover gasket.
rattling below 2k .....is it clutch rattle?does the noise go away when the clutch is pulled in......you say you have exhaust blow, this could be the cause of the noise also
yes if the exhaust blow becomes 'excessive' it can affect the running of the bike

yes it goes away when the clutch is in

then its clutch rattle and to be honest i wouldnt worry about it as long as it doesnt get progressivly worse alot of the zxr's have it.
some people have cured it with new plates or clutch basket.
