Hi all, recent problem need a bit of assistance with
Have a strange rattle on what sounds like cylinder one, noticed this after i did the cam chain (that was screwed lol). Any way, had rocker cover off today, checked for scoring or wearing of cams, all within tolerence, checked for valve sealing, all ok. No metal or other objects in oil pool on top end, rattle still exsists. THought shims, all seem to be good.
Any ideas anyone?

Have you checked the valve clearances? Another thought would be a blowing exhaust header gasket, that can sound like a tapping noise sometimes.
