why is my radator fluid green?

cos you mic blue antifreeze with water and it goes green at the right mixture, could depend on what antifreeze has been used too, think there are a couple of types, some blue and some green.

Yep, there is blue and green, dunno what the difference is apart from the colour.

something to do with the chemical content i think ones methanol glycol & the other is something else.the manual will tell you which you are supposed to use.but i guess some is better than none.something to do with the corrosion properties i think.

a permanent type of antifreeze is installed in the cooling system when shipped.It is coloured green and contains ethylene glycol.It is mixed at 50% and has a freezing point of -35 degrees C
