Hi, I am putting together my zxr 400 H2 after a total rebuild and when I put the new coolent in I found a small leak on the upright on the side.
The hole it's self must be only a pin prick in size.
My question is what is the best "cheap" way to fix it? Or is there even a cheap way to fix it that is not just a bottle of rad weld (I just think it will always come back with rad weld)
I have had a look on YouTube and seen people repairing them with what looks like solder and a blow torch.
Any advice would be a great help.
Can anyone help rad repair advice needed??

You will have to show me how? As I don't know how to edit the title.

If you can find where the tiny leak is coming from a spot of solder will fix it.

Re: Can anyone help rad repair advice needed??
aaron radiators will fix small leaks for ~£85, guaranteed 3 months, or will do a full recore for ~£275 guaranteed for a year.
one of my rads has a leak so instead of new tyres it will get a new rad core in a few weeks time, ill get them to repair a few of the mounting brackets that have snapped over time as well.
a new core is the only true "permanant" fix.
