No need for that.

Fixed for you CaNsA and cargoeg6ray wrote:Hello good people. My water pump has started leaking after a short run, from the cover of the pump at the bottom bolt. Is this a common problem and will a new seal fix it? I tried putting liquid gasket around the pump cover as I thought this may remedy the problem. Alas, this didn't work. So I believe a new seal shall be tried next which shall hopefully have a positive result. Many thanks for any input on this as I would appreciate any help from the experts on this fantastic forum. Humbly yours, eg6ray

Re: water pump leaking help
ZXR 400 water pumps are not rebuildable................there are two seals internally one to keep water in and another to keep oil out.
I cant remember if the water pump cover has a gasket or a rubber seal..............a quick look at the manual will tell you.
This seal is I think replacable however regualr sealler might just do the job
Note there is a small hole on the pump this is a tell tale.......if water or oil is leaking from this hole throw it in the bin and start again

Seeing as you either don't really know how to spell thinks correctly, or you think posting on this forum is the same as texting your chav mates I can only assume your last post was referring to one of the following.eg6ray wrote: seal
