Radiator fan'????
Hey all, on my H1 model the fan is hooked up to a switch by the dash which the last owner said he fitted, as well as fitting the fan saying that zxr's heat up easily, but after looking about i see that it should be hooked to a theormostat, but where do i reconnect the fan to so it can be on the thermostat, and how easy is it?

Re: Radiator fan'????
The fan plugs into the loom you might find the plug under the airbox near the front/top of the engine.
The fan is NOT controled or switched by the thermostat...............it is switched by a switch in the rad that is also connected to the loom

you might find its just wired straight to the rad connectors ss shorting those will switch the fan on. If hes done that the fan will kick in on its own accord if you leave the switch off.

Re: Radiator fan'????
this is quite often done when the switch in the rad breaks though as it is a bimetallic switch that cost at least £70 for a new one from cradleys!!!
Hence a couple of quid on a switch and some wire is used.
