Carb problem

How do i get to my jets? what do i need to take the bowl off? because ive tried every screwdriver i have found and i cant get one small enough to get the back ones :( and how can i get my plugs out? lol sorry i just need it done before 1 as i have college :P

the bowls are a pig to get off, usually the screws chew up before they come loose. as for the plugs you need a very thin wall socket.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

get some heat on the screws and hit em with a hammer, make sure the screwdriver is a perfect fit then try again.Don't do what i did use a impact driver as you will damage the carb body!

If you have chewed the screws then what I have done in the past is to use a dremel file to turn a cross head into a flat head screw and then hit it with an impact driver (heat will help also)

You must have hit it too hard :smt003

Probably dont need impact driver - if the screwdriver is a snug fit then it will turn - iirc these srews can have wd40 put in from the other end which if left long enough should do the job but that all depends on how much time you got!!

sorry to hijack but where is the best place to get jets from? mine has 102's in which is too big as i only have an aftermarket can on? Thanks
