Accelerator Stuck Open
Hi all, been enjoying my bike with the nice weather over the last few days now the new engine is in, thing is the accelerator has stuck open for some reason. Haven't had time yet to find out the problem as i'm at work but do you think it is something simple like one of the cables has come off the carbs and it's not returning properly? Any ideas?

sounds like your accellerator cable could of frayed and stuck in the outer casing, hence the reason for the deccellerator cable so to all those that are thinking of removing it, it is there for a reason!

Well I can you wot it woz peeps! The valves on second piston had smashed into the piston (that woz wot the tapping woz baz!) and completely mashed that up to and the bits of metal were pushed up into the pot and up into the carbs causing it to jam open and revving the hell outta my motor. Ah ha! There we go, not much luck with my engines at the moment i'm afraid!! Anyone selling a complete head on here at all? Don't need the cams. Managed to change the piston head over, thank god it never damaged the con rod eh?
