WHAT TYPE AIR FILTERS FOR BELLMOUTHS
Might sound a bit daft but i have just bought a set of carbs with dynojets and bellmouths fitted. Can any one tell me what is best to use as a air filter.

whats the point of having bellmouths if your gonna hide them behind a filter? have they got filters in them??

i've seen most people tend to use something like a pipercross filter that surrounds all 4 bellmouths, some bellmouths have a small filter built into them. are you still using the stock airbox?

Sorry you might want to post this on a racing section
For one you will need to get the bike dynoed well from a good company or you could do a lot of damage or at worst run like a old nag
You could run ram air my tuner runs this on his road bike
Just run a fine mesh some where to stop the bugs and grit from the roads
the idea behind ram air is to ram air in to gain more top power so you dont want a filter at all
Just be carefull get good advice on the set up
