Hey guys,
Does anyone know if one of the CV carbs on the L's is a base setting carb ie: if I was to do a bench sync after I rebuild my third set of carbs (ffs) is there a particular carb to use as the starting point?
Thanks

I usually use (looking at them from seat point of view) the far right. Thats the one directly connected with throttle and that has the idle setting screw. The others are connected to it..

Re: Carb base setting
ive always done it outer to inner.
so i would balance the screw between carbs #1 and #2, then the screw inbetween #3 and #4, and then the central screw

Re: Carb base setting
Bit of a late reply to this thread but which cylinder would be the reference cylinder?
Borrowed a fancy digital carb sync tool but my friend said you need to select the reference cylinder on the software before balancing.
Maybe in the case of the zxr this is irrelevant as it’s balanced in pairs.
If I had to pick one though, would I be right in choosing carbs 4 (furthest right as you sit on the bike)?
