Hi
can any body tell me which direction turning the pilot screw richens the idle mixture, im not sure if its an air screw or a fuel screw,

It's a fuel screw, turn in clockwise to lean, turn out anticlockwise to richen.
Can be screwed out from fully in about 3turns, anything more than that and the needle is fully retracted and does nothing extra.
