and splutter,..but if I just turn the throttle slowly and let it rev thru,it will rev right to 14500rpm, i just think that if you opull the throttle right bk it shud rev thru cleanly, im thinking maybe the jets are wrong,... its running on 98s and a micron can with standard air filter, can anyone shed some light,... thanksneed help !!

need help !!
hi folks, looking for some help on the fueling on my zxr 400 h1,...I have cleand my carbs, re shimmed the valves,balanced the carbs, the bike starts and idles sweet,revs fine in lower rpm, but as soon as I pull th throttle right bk over 5k it starts to and splutter,..but if I just turn the throttle slowly and let it rev thru,it will rev right to 14500rpm, i just think that if you opull the throttle right bk it shud rev thru cleanly, im thinking maybe the jets are wrong,... its running on 98s and a micron can with standard air filter, can anyone shed some light,... thanks

get some M3 washers from ebay and experiment with putting these between the needle and the diaphragm to raise the needle and richen the midrange.
buy jets of sizes 100, 102 and 105 and go to town with it.
