Hi all..
Well got a small problem after stripping my carbs down, The bike has just had a new engine, managed to get it started after a couple of goes, sounds ok and will idle.
but ive got fuel pooring out of number 4 carb nipple, the screw has been wound in and out but for some reason it seams loose in the threads.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Carb fuel leak..?
if you stripped the carbs to clean them there is no reason to touch that screw
given that the screw is now "loose in the threads" I'd imagine the threads are damaged and the screw wont tighten into it's seat to form a seal therefore fuel runs out.....easy really.
The solution.....................buy a replacment float bowl......................or just bung the hole up with chemical metal or araldite or some other such product
Easy really
