Fuel emptying itself from two hoses.

Post by stevezx7r »

Hi all, any idea what the two pipes between carbs 1 and 2 and carbs 3 and 4 do? It's been a while since I stripped and rebuilt them and now they're on the bike I'm getting loads of fuel out of them both. The bike almost started but I stopped it as soon as I noticed the fuel.

Any help asap would be great.

Cheers.

Thats the overflow for the carbs, check there isnt dirt in there, the foat heights are correct and if the needle and o rings are in good order.

Cheers for the info, I rang Baz (fallsoffslowley) and he said what you said. Should have known myself really :smt009

Anyway, I've stripped the float bowls and all seems fine but I'm unable to test if it works as the bloody starter solenoid has packed in :smt013

So, if anyone has a solenoid I know a bike that needs one ;)

Cheers,

Steve.
