I've got a flat spot at around 6000RPM- 7000RPM it does it in every gear. The exhaust sound is a bit raspy when this happens.
Really annoying as thats right on the rev range for normal road riding. Also held up everyone behind me at Brands Hatch yesterday coming out of bends. That and the fact that im not really that quick
Past 7000RPM and its all good- i was catching people who had just overtook me. Well for a few seconds anyway
Do the carbs need balancing?
Also the bike likes to idle at around 2500RPM then settle to 1500RPM after a minute or so. I read elsewhere on the forum that this could be the inlet rubbers, does that sound like it?
Are the two connected?
