hey im new, few questions

Post by keeton. »

hi guys, im new and just bought a 2002 zxr 400 and will be picking it up next saturday.
im from sheffield and recently sold my 2 poke rs50.
just wondering where i can get a cheap hugger cos the one thats on has been sprayed the same colour as the bike and its flaking off. where you can get undertrays, like the zx7r's for the 4. and jack up kits.
cheers

Welcome!

The hugger I would keep an eye out on e-bay, or just sand down and respray yourself.
Don't know about undertray tbh.
I'm not quite sure but i think theres an adjustment on the suspension as standard. What are you wantin to jack it up 4?

thank, ill keep an eye out on ebay.
i was told that the zxr was similar to the zx7r in which you have to lean it over alot more then other bikes to get them round corners. me and my dad have a 7r trackbike and i know the jack up kit made an amazing difference. i was just wondering whether its true and whether you can get them.

i think there was a german compnay selling jack up kits on ebay a while ago, although they may have been lowering kits....

if your using the bike for the road you wont need a jack up kit, turns more than quick enough on its own.

be careful if your thinking of the shotgun lights. although they look good but it seams to decrease the value of the bike on re-sale. christ knows why, maybe ppl think its had a big off and your hiding something who knows.
