Paddock Stand Bobbins

Post by Wabby »

Hi Guys,

What size thread is the bobbin hole on the swingarm?

Got some 12mm bobbins (Advertised for ZXR) but won't fit.

My cups wont go under properly either cos of the rear brake :(

Any ideas?

thread is M12 x 1.25.. sometimes marketed as 12mm fine..

some bobbins are M12 x 1.5,

bobbins could be the wrong pitch thread, or the threads on the arm are gakked up..

where did you get the bobbins ?

eBay.

Advertised as ZXR400 paddock stand bobbins (Motrax).

Looks like I need some others then!!!

**EDIT*

Hmm, the pack says BOBS M12 1.25FINE SLV PAIR.

They screw in 1 thread (tapered ends) but then when trying to tighten with rachet, they just feel like they are ripping the threads of the bike.
