The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

nice anything that you can remember that was a good race? lotus's handle well.. i have slayed MANY MANY boy racers which is always a laugh. and a 300ZX twin turbo :) aswell as a Ferrari 360. that was the 1st time i had had a proper challenge. apart from a ZX12R which kinda took the piss.

nothing really significant, a police riot van was probably the most interesting although it didnt last long before i couldnt see him in my mirrors. dont really get involved in many impromtu ballsize comparisons, most of the boy racers in my area know full well what bikes are capable of and so they rarely even try. you get the odd audi driving idiot who thinks he can beat you off the lights now and again, and a few of those throttle roll on tests when you go to overtake someone on a dual carriageway.

will sometimes meet the odd driver or rider out on my favourite roads who fancy a bit of a race but generally when it's a car i let em take the lead and then see what they can do or if i'm up front i find myself backing off so i can keep em in my mirrors and maybe let them have some fun, is a bit toad trying to keep up with a 750 when your driving an astra :D got give em some chance eh

I think the most rewarding races are the ones where you go out on your own, meet almost no one arrive at your destination with that great feeling that today your riding felt totally spot on with barely a thought spared for anything but the road in front of you and when you get your breath back your gonna have a nice cold beer

The noteable ones where I met fancy stuff:

Yamaha TZR125 - Lotus Esprit V8 (i'd accidentally put a DT rear sprocket on, so blew him away to 60 then he romped off over the horizon doing silly speeds...)

ZXR400 - Toyota Supra

ZXR400 - Lotus Elise

VFR750 - Mitsubushi Evo VII (awesome run down one of my favourite roads with him sliding the back end out)

ZX9R - a pair of brand new Corvette Z01's

It's very rare I find anyone in anything noteable who actually wants to play... :smt009

Nothing worth noteing tbh. I got told off by a biker the other day because i was ridding "to fast" he was only pissed off because i went round the out side of him while he was trying his hardest.

Same day i raced a chav in a Impreza. I didnt even really want to but when he floored off the line i couldnt help but pop it onto one wheel as i went past. I've now got bruises from were the lass on the back beat the toad it out if me :D

not a huge amount really tried it atm but in the past month ive had the bike i would say the following cars lost quite easily

ZXR400 - BMW325
ZXR400 - some crappy old fiesta
ZXR400 - various people carriers strangely enough :smt005
ZXR400 - Imprezza but i think it was the non turbo as didnt seem that fast

bikes got a huge hole in the downpipe atm so havent really tried it with much else as i get the feeling its killing off some of the power

I'm pretty sure it was when I was on my ZXR400 that I passed a De Lorean driving up the M6 - but he wasn't actually racing.

In fact, he seemed to be staying well below 88mph, and no doubt for good reason, too! :smt003

I onced overtook a Porsche Boxster that was in the process of overtaking. That felt good as he tried his hardest to keep up, but failed miserably.

I have been absolutely thrashed by a new M5 though. They are insanely fast. shocking

I've had a play with an M3 before on the TL did him off the line but at 120 roll on he kept up really well.

I got fecked in the butt by an Evo. Stock they're fucking rocket ships but this thing was something else. Its always the dickheads in the Corsa's and focus's who think they can have me. Think again.

corsa and saxo boys are the most fun. Act as if your really trying hard to keep up, then slip it into 2nd pop the front up in the air a belt it off. Watch there faces as they pull up at the next set of lights. I normaly have a point and laugh session at this point as well.
