ooooooo seen that t'other day, got me looking for rear seats, found a nice cbr6 one that looked the same but the seller has taken it off ebay, did you read, the zx9r rear wheel fits

Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

Re: nice butt!
Looks good dont it, a very good fit by the looks of it. Only let down is it shows some of the bottom rail of the subframe, but other than that it meets upto the tank quite well! Ive mailed the guy to find out so we will know soon. Im racking my brains to find out, its got vents on the seat unit and a keep thinking its a gixxer seat unit??

Re: nice butt!
thing is if you put a 9r wheel on will that not slow the bike down a tad?

Re: nice butt!
Only the turn in speed, which on the road is probably negligible. On the plus side you do get a better choice of rubber.

Re: nice butt!
It's a fireblade seat unit.
I'll put some more pics of my CBR6RR seat up later from home. However here's one to get you going...

I'd disagree strongly!
Maybe +/- 10, but going from a 160 to a 180 will make it toad!
I had a VFR with a 170 rear when it was supposed to be a 150, and I played with the suspension for days just to get the fkr to tip into corners. It wouldn't.
I really was quite amazed at how much difference it makes.
If you ride like a Granny with a quim infection anyway, and are poncey enough to want to 'look trick and sick like what yo homies does', then good for you - go for the 180.

Re: nice butt!
was gonna say it looked like the '04 fireblade seat unit
that looks the nuts on the 400, i personally think the AMS unit looks toad, stick up too much and doesnt follow the lines of the tank
just my opinion

Re: nice butt!
Well why spoil whats already good and stick a 180 on in the first place?
Not a fan of the AMS seat unit either, totally agree it doesnt suite the bike. Have to say that CBR unit and the TL1000 looking seat unit from GPC moto are about the best ones ive seen for the ZXR.

Re: nice butt!
I think the AMS unit is far too long. As for wider tyres, I had a 170 on my zxr when it should of been a 160, it was shite.
