Finally managed to get the frame done, Its not perfect yet but I can't be bothered waiting any longer with no bike. I'm too skint to buy a polishing kit at the moment lol, so been using a cloth over the end of the sander and good old autosol.
The picture shows the better side, this side I burnt the paint off and used wire wool, so the scratches are very shallow (still too deep for the autosol to remove though), the other side isn't as shiney due to even deeper scraches from the sander

dno which I've got, just a little tube thing that comes in a box. Like black and brown in colour the tube, and the stuff itself is white. Its £3.95 a tube and I think I've read polished alloy on it somewhere (but it didn't say not suitable for). I don't see what harm it could do really. polish is polish
