Carb seals

I found that my fuel tap wasn't shutting off a while ago when I got covered in fuel removing it! So I replace the service kit. I replaced my oil and there was a strong smell of petrol and it looked like the level has risen. I suspect he carbs have been letting fuel through as I had turned my fuel tap to off but obviously it wasn't off. I have checked the condition off the float needles and seats and they look ok. I just wanted to confirm that if it is the seals in the carbs worn then it is the ones that sit under/around the brass piece that the float needle drops into that I will need?

Thank You

Terence

Correct, though it could be the float needles as well, might be best to change them both.

The o rings can be got from kawasaki, though I prefer the ones from Litetek in thailand

They really are good seals, they are a mix of viton and fluorosillicone seals, and are excellent, much better than oem, don't change length or shape over time and exposure and are very resistant to going brittle.
