Longest Day Down 2015

Post by banner001 »

Update for all who might see it, there is a charity motorcycle ride on sunday 21st of June 2015 in aid of Cancer Research UK, 27 crazy people on £300 bikes are doing the non-motorway 908-mile john o'groats to lands end ride in less than 24 hours...thats a lot of biking in less than 1 day! If anyone lives nearby and wants to spend 5 hours waiting at the side of the road for 30 bikes to cough and splutter past them the route is shown here. I will have a marshalling post setup at the bassets pole roundabout from 3pm onwards if anyone wants to come and show their support.

Great cause!

They are travelling near me on the way through clay cross.. Wonder if they are stopping at CMC on the A61 or Bikers View (Royal Oak pub) at Tupton on the A61?

Will have to keep eye out.
Good luck everyone !!
