Donations for a good cause.

Post by banner001 »

As some of you might know, i was found to be a match to a lady somewhere in the world with leukemia, and on the 2nd of december i donated some of my bone marrow to her via the antony nolan foundation. Over the past 3 years i have lost 3 good friends of mine to cancer and its a shitty way to go out. All of them lost their hair so me and the wife decided that i should bald myself and then grow wild for a year.

30 minutes ago i did this to myself...

The two friends of mine who died in the UK recieved some excellent care from the macmillian cancer support organisation, so i have setup a fundraising page with them as the beneficiary. If anyone can donate anything it would be well recieved, they perform a very difficult and very special job.

:smt023 I'm in, good luck, the growing it back is the bugger, scratchy scratchy.

Let's have more of you tight gits on board, it is a really good cause.

Well done, great cause.
Just made a donation .. Shows I'm a bloke as I'm clearly not observant ..
(Been on here nigh on 6 months and didn't know you was doing it!)

Bet you can't wait to go bald for Xmas again.. (Snigger)

i was going to do the longest day down for 2015, but breaking my arm twice, over a 3 month period has put that one to rest for a year.
