broke > bodged > made worse > fixed

The twistgrip rubber had stretched and no longer gripped the throttle.
It had been like that for about 3weeks now, I had been using a jubilee clip........ shocking
Also, one of the screws in the right switch gear had seized and I needed to lube up the cables.
The right side indi rubber had perished and i needed a replacement.
The indi mounts were rusted to hell, they needed replacing n all.

I popped over to my local bike breakers to have a rummage through their stores, they have bits for everything.

Grabbed a switchgear + twistgrip + throttle, right side indicator mount and a indicator.
£10 :smt003

Get home, drilled out the seized screw, removed the old switchgear.
Oh wait..... lights on/off....? I didnt have that on the old one.
FU, FU IN THE FACE!
Picked up the wrong switch gear. FAIL.
Cant put the old one back on as that fuxord.

Bike sitting there with no throttle or right had switch gear. GRRRRRRR

Just bought a replacement from ebay for £15, but ill have to wait until atleast weds for it to arrive.
Had to buy a replacement throttle cable too as the plastic bit got fuxord.

Sorted.

The plastic bit on the end of the throttle open cable is buggered but it will suffice until the replacement arrives from cradley.
Switch gear order has been cancelled.

When you say infills do you mean the plastic bits that sit on top of the indicator mounts? Oh and your tax disc is on the wrong side :smt002
