Interchangeble parts for zxr400

I've had a good hoke through threads and just looking a little clarification before buying...

The fuel filler cap on my h1 needs replaced. Will an L model cap fit the h1 therefore opening my options for hunting for a second hand one via gpz etc??

I know it's mentioned in a thread or two but just wanting to be sure before the ££££ start flying
