Sounds about right. This is why so many bikes get written off after even a very light/slow drop...

I still have tins of matt black spraypaint, cable ties and matt black duct tape, if you want? :smt002

daftarse that fairing is easily repairable. just plastic weld it all up. Then at some point in the future get it re-painted.

The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

I cant work out what the f*** is wrong with the fron end. It turns smoothley but there is a wierd squeeking noise, which is coming from the disks. I know its that becuase it goes away when i pull in the brake. It may be the larger tyre size on the front that makes it look like something is up. If corsa's are bigger that is. I'm confused about what todo next. strip it down or get it to a garage...

Did your caliper take a knock as well? If so I'd get the bolts out and have a good look at them to make sure one hasn't bent or snapped, and havea good look at the mounting bracket itself.

Also check your disc on that side incase you've got a hairline fracture or anything.

Is it a constant squeak or like a rusty old weelbarrow?

EDIT: Looking at the pic of the front wheel, I can see some scratches on the outer edge of the disc just below the caliper. Could just be this making the pads screech? And look over the whole disc for cracks, especially any running between the holes.

Its like the tinyest movement on the caliper causes it to squeek, no squeek when the wheels turning though.Think the disc may have bent slightly.
