MY NEXT BIKE

Post by Mori Man »

You might have gathered I have a soft spot for BEET parts - THEY race Kawasakis and that's enough for me :smt004

So today I thought why not email them - now a few months back I bought a front muddy thinking it was the 400 but worked out it was actually for a 250 and with the help of BEET managed to get the seller to take it back and fully refund me :excited

With out a bat of their eye lids they went raking into their filing cabinets and got all the info out on the Aero fin fender for the 400 and faxed it to me within 25mins of my wife phoming them - how Kewl is that ! :smt004

So today I asked them for photos of their race 400's - they ran them for many years and won several titles including 2 consective Suzuka challenges - the 1st ever !

Unfortunately they say these photos dont exist anymore :smt010 :smt010 But they did scan in their old catalogue images and emailed me them.

With my Bit between the teeth , I will ask the wife to resend my email but this time in Japanese and pleed with them to re-make the tail cowl and fender - I am in Love :smt007

The 2nd bike had been destined to be a "streetfighter " kinda & with a member on the forum maybe becoming resident here for a while was even going to build it to order but if I can pull this off then current bike will become a J hybrid and bike two will be my BEET racer - very few parts I don't have to make a near perfect replica so I hope the factory will help. I know a very good painter here and will ask him to spray the plastics identical except for road lighting.

I SO need this bike - should they happen to have one in storage I better sell one of my livers (c) Homer Simpson and give up a Kidney too :smt005
