Last day of current holiday

Post by Mori Man »

Hope you have all had a great time putting your feet up and stuffing your faces and trying to burst your liver with the drink :smt003

I get back at it again for a few days tomorrow before I stop again for the New Year so what to do with my last day :smt017

Pull out the Bito R&D 33mm FCRs , wash them down , fit new float bowl gaskets and hook them up on the bike - sounds like a fookin great plan :excited

So that's what I done, out on veranda in the Winters sun getting a tan and overhauling carb's :smt004

Fit them up and get them primed, bike fires up and that awesome sound of FCRs and air induction is about as close as you can get to an emotional orgasm with out a woman :smt016

Check for leaks then site tank and let bike warm up :smt003

Some sunshine left :smt017

Fit Active Billet high throttle :excited

Soz, never took the camera out but should be going for a hurl tomorrow to pick up parts :smt001

Bito carb settings:

MJ : #132 x 4
SJ : #52 x 4
MAJ : #110
PAJ : #200
AS : 1 1/4 turn
Needle : Solid Brass 90 FT X

All Keihin Jets

I have a set of M9 FCRs (30mm Red trumpets) here so will do a comparison with them but I know the throttle valves are also different compared to my J2 set.

I also have another set of Bito's but their MJs are #120 still with a slow jet #52 and needle is now a 90 FX - again these ran fine but were pissin fuel everywhere so are now in the process of a complete overhaul and stripped in a hundred pieces shocking All O rings and gaskets being replaced.

Again running all sets with 50mm Blue trumpets .

Can't wait to see what I get upto in my New Year break :smt005
