Re: NEC bike show
if i went, the zxr would have my 48 litre top-box on the pillion seat, a set of throw over panniers on the back, and a 40 litre tail pack on top of the top box, just in case i had lots of goodies. or a spare babe to bring home! that would give me some thing like 120 liters of space, oh, and my rucksack. it would make an interesting photo!
I do 700 miles a week in all weathers including snow, that's roughly 35,000 miles a year, and some weekend warrior biker has the nerve to get out of his Audi at work to tell me to I was riding far too fast in the wet (over taking at 50... fast eh?).

Re: NEC bike show
Went on monday, iv'e been to every show for the last 20 yrs or so, this years is better than last years as there are all the major manufacturers present, but worse as there are less small stalls. There is a noticeable decline in the amount of freebies that are given away over the last few years, obviously the recession is playing it's part there,
Im not sure how they justify £17 entry and £8 for car park just to look at stuff, but it is a day out after all, and i'll be there again next year!
