here's a silly idea

Post by gavinfdavies »

here's a pysco recipe for playing with a zxr...

take one zxr400, take one 750 two stoke triple. Add reed valves, race porting, and spannies.
Mix until well done.

I'm thinking about 120rwhp, handling to die for, and dry weight about 140kg? :smt077

so... does anyone have a 750 widow maker engine lying around they'd like to swap for say, my 400 lump with 33k on the clock? go on, you know you want to!
I do 700 miles a week in all weathers including snow, that's roughly 35,000 miles a year, and some weekend warrior biker has the nerve to get out of his Audi at work to tell me to I was riding far too fast in the wet (over taking at 50... fast eh?).

a member from this forum has done it with a rd/rg 500. I dont think he comes on here that much, but ive heard he is still about on trackdays on it.
He was in the noise test que at oulton in front of me a few years ago, it looked like a standard green/blue/white zxr... until i spotted the massive pipes.
that thing was fast.
