rear shock ?

does anyone know if you can buy the 2 locking rings for the top of the rear shock from any where ive seen a zxr with some fancy alloy ones ive just painted mine but i know full well there gonner get mangeled when i rebuild the shock any info would be great

I know for definate you cant, i tried to get them when i was doing my bike up, i had actually binned them, then found out from my local dealer then come with the shock and not sold seperately. luckily i hadnt emptied the bin! Im not sure where you can get them from but i guess there must be a standard size and thread for them so possibly off another shock? If you find any let me know is id be interested in them too!

oh poo i might just strip the paint off and leave them zinc plated then thanks any way. i dropped all the bits off at the powder coaters this morning iam having the gloss black and lacquered should look the nutts all for $160 and thats 30 bits

try them, they also do shock customising as well as rebuilds, may be worth a try mate

Loads of fancy locking rings etc for the motorcross bikes. I'd expect one will fit. Try places such as racespec, mx bits and the like. How about a singular locking ring that just has a bolt through it instead of 2 rings. Far easier to adjust.
