How Many Horses Does YOUR ZXR400 Have?
Hi,
Got me thinking the other day what BHP you guys might have kicking at the rear wheel of your ZXR400. That's if you've taken it on a Dyno of course.
So... how many horses is your ZXR400 packing at that rear wheel or yours?
I'll start shall I?
62bhp

Re: How Many Horses Does YOUR ZXR400 Have?
No idea, myself, i found out the other day ive got 30mm carbs which means the fueling is probably no where near matched for the Beet ti system, even tho it does feel bloody strong low down. Standard ZXR's are very rarely 65bhp, usually around 61on average from what i remember from the past, so mine is probably less than 60 i reckon. When i got the money i will be getting it on a dyno tho.

My L3 was dyno'd with 80hp at the rear wheel - but that was with a heavily binding rear brake sapping god knows how much!
That was with (that I know about) a full Micron system... and a 444cc bore kit!

probs not man, they all read differently dynometers. You could have a 70hp beast read only 64 on another. dynojet will make you feel good, but a dynopro normally tells you like it is
plus you have a shiney frame..worth a few extra hp on a sunny day

Hi,
Bike is going on the Dyno yet AGAIN for the second time in the space of 4 months! Changes are full Micron, new engine, new airbox, new filter, new carbs, new inlet rubbers and a cleaner bike.
Hoping to push out more then my other engine which was 62.0bhp. Aiming to get at least 63~64. Goes on the 28th November!
Fingers crossed
Regards
Rich
