cadwell park this weekend

Post by will#224 »

Final round of the Nora supermoto championship.

Saturday is practice day and the 450 races.

Sunday is the open class racing and in my opinion the best day to spectate.

Its usually a tenner to watch, the club house is open for food and drink.

Only the mountain section is used and its usually good fun seeing the bikes getting some decent air over the mountain and getting seriously sideways backing it into the corners.

The bikes have plenty of trick stuff on them with adjustable ignition, engine braking, radial brakes, slipper clutches, tubeless spoked wheels etc etc.

Come take a look! smile.gif

Wayyyyyyy too far for me unless I know someone racing there...

Great place though! Are they just using the tarmac, then? Is it the mountain and all that twisty foresty bit?
Who needs tyres when you've got knees!!

yeah the mountain section is just the twisty woods section, they used to use a dirt section up near charlies but the cleaning costs after use were too much.

They put some chicanes in the pit area to make it a bit more interesting.

I've ridden there last 3 years, charlies is a bit scary flat out in top with bars inches from the ground but they've got rid of that now.

Usually there are some well known names on guest rides and sometimes some riders from across the world.
