I was looking in the ZXRworld section and saw the article on how you can't use these bulbs unless you remove the lower tabs on a H4 bulb.
Haven't looked at the ones on my own bike yet but what type bulb does the L use? Should be stamped on it - maybe H3?
if you can let me know as i am sure there are heaps of these bulbs available that will fit, with out modification.
Cheers,
DS

UK L's and H model bikes use the same bulbs. They aren't the same as the ones in my car. I don't know what sort they are - will see if there's anything printed on them later.
In the garage:

Suzuki DR800 - bouncy
1978 Suzuki GS400 -
PROJECT RETRO RACER!
Kawasaki GPz500S - for sale soon
Honda CG125 BR-J - in bits

Just pulled one out the bike and they are ?
Mine is marked M&H halogen which is the manufacturers name , very similar too H4's and are probably the "betamax" of the headlight world
Going to shop tonight so will see if i can suss it out taking it along.
A Multi reflector upgrade is imminent on my H2

Trying to find a cheaper kit
Been hunting around and that's not a bad price for a twin kit.
