Even every so often is horrible, you have my sympathy, look after your back (This is for everyone!) lift properly, dont spend hours bending over your bike, get a chair or sit cross legged on the floor, you feel like a school child but it's alot better on your back and knee's. My old boss had broken his knee cap 20 years ago and i was only 6 months out of a cast, sitting croos legged helps alot, he was acctually very nice and bought me a pair of trousers with the knee pads in and they're lovely. Seriously guys you don't want to be having to go to 4 appointments a week just because you spent too long bent over your bike taking them carbs off!

I am actually doing the bent knees thing to lift stuff now, feel like a twat doing it, but saves on more pain and numbness, why were you in a cast Ross?
As for working on the bike, you could be a right smartarse and have it up on a bench, or them up on a bench, yes Cargo I am a little jealous of the grotto, and bloody impressed, child in a sweet shop :excited

Broke my kneecap into 3 pieces playing rugby, got nicknamed terrier by the other team as I was the smallest on the pitch and chasing everyone, played another 50 minutes with it! And yeah I lift with my knees now or I just feel a ping and it goes into massive spasm

Your'e just trying to sound dead hard now :pmsl I tried driving after breaking my left wrist playing football, first gear change there was a nice crunch from my wrist, fookin' ell it was sore, I clutched, mate changed gear, guess I'm just not that hard.

Your back is fooked, one knee is fooked, I hope your arms are good, bet the knee feels good in this lovely cold weather.

Right ankle fecked, left knee, back and brain goes into spasm and I become "one I short of a genius" which in your accents probably sounds like guinness :tease and my hands are fine from a dodgy finger and a dodgy thumb, both from bikes, I have a habit of carrying on when injured which isn't the best idea :smt017

I did 3 nights in work two weeks ago with a broken jaw.
Doc said that every broken jaw she had ever seen comes to A&E within minutes and in serious pain

I told her I was a road racer and pain was easy to ignore.

Had op later that day and now I set off alarms at airports

I've apologised over and over, I told you not to fix my front door with your sledgehammer, one bloody punch and your jaw breaks, you big jessie.
I broke two bones in my hand, doc asked was it sore? No, I replied, he's a road racer and used to pain.

One blessing though, Guiness is liquid food, FACT :smt030

My stepdad unfortunately got bowel cancer about 5 years ago, went in to see the consultant who said he needed to eat fibre high food and drink, so he asked if Guinness was ok :pmsl she googled it and said it was high in fibre so crack on!!

Fooked ankle - tick, dodgy knee - tick, back - (relatively) tick, brain - I reckon mine idles like a ZXR, badly, dodgy finger - tick (it's quite funny looking though) was told by consultant he could do an op and take the movement out of it so it would not hurt :smt017 , no ta. Creak Crack should have been my user name, or your's, anyway it's good when you choose a bike with your heart over your head, for us a ZXR seems a ridiculous choice when you consider it, until you ride the fooker that is.

Zxr isn't a problem for me, im 5'6" and 55kg, so the zxr is ROOMY! My middle finger on my right hand broke at the knuckle and then calcified so the swelling became bone, now I can dislocate it at will because the ligaments got surrounded in bone, and at 18 I feel 80! Getting up and saying "I'm too old for this!" I get up in the morning and crack pretty much every joint possible! Even my sternum? :smt017 ah well, get on the bike and its fine, if im having a bad day then I switch to commuter style. very smooth, No harsh braking and not leaning off the bike too much, just getting on and off so stop by the railings at college or the wall at home. The school HATE my bike, they're used to little gopeds

Did I bollox.
