Infill Panels

Post by Dr Doalot »

Hi All

I wonder if anyone can help me...

I just got my ZXR and the previous owner has replaced the front indicators and (I think) the infill bracket is missing to secure the front screw hole of the infill panel to. I thought it was part of the (original) front indicator but looking on eBay all the front indicators just seem to have the rubber mounting but nothing to screw the infill panel to

I would like to secure the infill panel properly to something (front most screw hole) Can anyone point me inthe right direction for what I should be looking for?

TIA

the panel has 3 screws, 2 that go near to the frame and are secured to a L-shaped wedge of metal that is connected inside the frame, near where the coils are.

the singular screw hole is connected to a L-shaped bit of metal that goes around the rubber where the indicator pokes through the inside of the fairing...you mean this bracket?

For an L-model (you dont say what you have) this is the part:-
92200B and 92200C

doubt you will find them on ebay, ring cradleys (01384633455) and get new ones...wont be more than a few quid each.

you might also need the small bracket that this screws into (92200A) and the associated small screw as well...you will need to compare your indicators to the microfiche listed above.

OK brackets ordered thanks for the tip.

Next question, are the front indicators the long ones and the rear the short ones or is it the other way round? I ask because the fiche shows the front as being the short type but eBay seems to have the long ones as the front like this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KAWASAKI-ZXR4 ... 5899eec76c
