Enough is enough

Post by cargo »

Is it wrong of me to be getting more and more pi55ed of with new members starting their first every post with "Hi guys" followed with some poor discription of a problem with their bike ?

As of today I intend to ignore all such posts..................................I strongly suggest that new members try introducing themselves.

Would you walk into a pub and say "my bike is broken whats wrong with it" ?

Oh and I've just banned a spammer Russian apparently

I don't think you're asking too much.

Can I also add to the list of posts I will not answer -

1. Any thread headed 'Help!!' or other such uninformative rubbish

2. Anything which a simple search could have answered. I get a bit fed up of repeating myself when I'm not pissed. The other day someone had posted up a question about which tyres to choose right above a previous thread on exactly the same subject :ffs

3. Anyone asking where they can buy new parts from. FROM A KAWASAKI DEALER, JUST GOOGLE IT, OR RING CRADLEYS :rant

in time the questions and answers section will be cloned down to exactly questions and answers along with the new format and all duplicated questions deleted, there really should be no need to ask a question as i'm sure every possible topic on the zxr400 has been answered here.

Surely if its annoying you just don't read them or refrain from replying. Granted a lot of posts are unnecessary and anyone using text speech instead of grammatical English deserves a thump but there's no point in :smt014 . Just simply ignore it and life is far less stressful.

Is this the reason that you might not have replied to my dilemma!!! I am definitely not a newbie at this game and I have searched through the threads which I always do before posting a new one. I did see a thread that was like mine but it does not sort out my problem!

How can it be the reason I wont answer YOUR dilemma ?.................I've not seen it.

I'm giving some thought to the idea of deleting first time posts that ask dumb a55 questions

Thoughts ?

I do know of a forum that wont allow new members to post in the problems section until thay have made a posts in the introductions section.

Theres another one this morning.....................I might just answer it with a good big helping of extreme scarcasim

Rather than deleting them how about we create a sub-forum/section title "stupid title/stupid post"
